Meet Miss Razzmatazz!

On July 22, 2016 we welcomed another pup into the Johnson Family!

Her name is Miss Razzmatazz!
She is just about 2 months old!
She is SO incredibly tiny compared to her big brother!
She is quite the little spitfire (her name matches her perfectly)!
She loves jumping and chewing on everything (especially ropes)!
She is afraid of absolutely nothing (not even her huge brother)!
She is very smart and doing well with her training so far!
We love this tiny, spunky girl so much already!

4th of July Fun

If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife
I'd thank my lucky stars to be livin' here today
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can't take that away

And I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

From the lakes of Minnesota, to the hills of Tennessee
Across the plains of Texas, from sea to shining sea
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to LA
Well, there's pride in every American heart
And it's time we stand and say that

I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died, who gave that right to me
And I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land
God bless the USA

~

I had to begin this post with one of my favorite songs, "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood! I would listen/sing along to this and national anthem anytime I could! About once a month I would fly back and forth from my mom's house in Southern California to my dad's house in Northern California when I was younger. Every time we would drive to the airport in Ontario, California, we would pass an American flag flying high on top of a hill and every time I spotted that flag I would ask my mom to sing the national anthem with me. Without skipping a beat she did and it became a tradition in our car. I always felt such pride being an American and as I have grown into an adult, my pride has grown exponentially. My heart swells when I think about what this country stands for and all those who have and continue to fight for it! I am beyond proud to be an American!

Happy 4th of July Everyone!

Isaac and Sienna Visit SC - Sibling Photos

While they were here, I asked my very talented mother-in-law to take some photos of us for my mom! I absolutely love them and I am pretty sure my mom did too! Thank you so much Laurel!

Isaac and Sienna Visit SC - Isle of Palms Sunrise

Sunrises at the beach are by far my favorite thing about living on the East Coast! I have been multiple times and each one was very different from the others! I really wanted to take Isaac and Sienna to see a sunrise here, so we planned it on the last morning that Isaac was here. ur plan was to wake up early, make our breakfast burritos, and head to the beach. We woke up early, but we realized it wasn't quite early enough because the burritos took a lot longer than we anticipated. I was a little upset because I really wanted to be at the beach while it was still dark outside, but it turned out to be one of the coolest sunrises I have ever seen! It reminded me that sometimes going off plan can result in something even better than you thought! We took some photos, ate of delicious burritos (which y brother could be a model for Taco Bell with that burrito, huh? Haha!), and enjoyed watching the huge storm clouds roll out across the ocean. Afterwards, since it is really close to IOP, we stopped by Shem Creek Park. The clouds had cleared and it was so peaceful out. We lounged on some rocking chairs and enjoyed the views before heading back to the house! It was such a wonderful morning!

Isaac and Sienna Visit SC - Magnolia Plantation

If you are in South Carolina, there is no way that you can't visit at least one of the plantations, so that is exactly what we did! We woke up and made yet another really delicious breakfast (french toast, fruit, and smoothies) and headed off to one of the most beautiful plantations in this area! It was really humid and as Sienna and I found out later, the mosquitos were biting like crazy, but it was such a beautiful day! We walked around and spent the afternoon enjoying all of the scenery and history Magnolia Plantation provides. Later that night we all had my father-in-law's amazing pizza! I didn't get any photos because we were all too busy enjoying it! It is the best pizza you can find!
