Johnson Family Photos Fall 2016

Hey Everyone! I know I know, I haven't posted in WAY too long. I guess that is what happens when you work all week (including Saturday) and have two callings at church. Life has ben pretty dang crazy lately, but crazy is good sometimes. Anyways, over the Thanksgiving holiday (about 4 months ago now) Ben, Jacquie, Bennett, and  Juliette came out to South Carolina to celebrate with us. Since we haven't really gotten very many family photos, I decided to finally put a real photo shoot together. With the help of Laurel and Jacquie, we made it possible. My heart is filled with so much love for these people, I can't believe I get to call them family!

Carolina Turns 2

Last month we celebrated this sweet little girl's 2nd birthday! The theme was bubbles and it was SO much fun! The whole day I just kept thinking how fast she has grown up! It seems like just yesterday when I held her tiny, little self at Perkins Diner not too long after she was born. This little girl is such a constant ray of sunshine in our lives and I am so glad that we get to be part of her little world! Happy Birthday Carolina!

Foggy Mornings

In the past week or so there has been a few very pretty foggy mornings and as I have been WAY to busy for photography, I just couldn't pass up capturing my view this morning! I love this time of year!

Hurricane Matthew

I have been ridiculously busy these past couple weeks with me new(ish) job that I didn't post the photos I took after Hurricane Matthew hit our coast. Darren, Nick, and I decided to ride the storm out at home. We didn't know quite what to expect (at least I didn't), but we prepped for the worst. The winds picked up and the rain was hard, but it certainly was not what I expected it to be. We were lucky enough to only be out of power for less than 24 hours and that nothing on the property got seriously damaged. The photos I took were during the first part of the clean-up. I capture these few and then I got my butt to work with the guys! Now I can say I experienced a hurricane!
